Ziya Fırat Gultekin is the founder of Fırat Gültekin & Partners Law Firm, one of Turkey’s leading law firms known for its quality, innovative services in the fields of Turkish Commercial and Corporate Law, Enforcement Law, Labor Law and Intellectual Property Law.

During his career as a lawyer, Gultekin has provided legal consultancy and advocacy services to many public institutions and organizations and private sector companies, including listed companies. He has represented companies in audit, management, and general assemblies; resolved complex disputes for the leading companies in the market; participated in the negotiations of many commercial contracts such as those for export, construction, share transfer, share pledge, sales, distributorship, service, dealership, license, brand transfer and financial leasing required by the contracts of its client companies. Apart from this, he has provided consultancy services to companies with his strategic studies and commercial point of view in many areas such as commercial responsibility, the responsibility of employees and managers, the resolution of disputes between partners, and the implementation of commercial decisions.

Gültekin completed his master’s degree in Economic Law at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law. He has served as a lecturer at many universities and academies, and has given seminars on his fields of expertise to non-governmental organizations operating in the commercial field and businessmen’s associations.

Sevgi İlter graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Law in 2003 and joined Fırat Gültekin & Partners Law Firm in 2010. She is currently working as the General Coordinator (Managing Partner). She provides legal support to clients with her expertise in labor law, commercial crimes, anti-corruption, criminal law, and general corporate law. She also holds the title of mediator and provides services in both compulsory and voluntary mediation.

İlter provides legal consultancy, advocacy, and mediation services with more than 15 years of experience in all kinds of business and disputes arising from labor law issues such as work permits, termination processes, collective dismissal, the management and supervision of the human resources unit, and mediation services, management of termination processes, employee claims, mobbing and the representation of client companies and employees in senior management positions in lawsuits arising from violations of the principle of equality and discrimination.

In addition, İlter is an expert in investigations and lawsuits against company executives within the scope of combatting commercial crimes and corruption, and effectively represents clients in line with her experience in this field.

Beyhan Uzun graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2011 and  joined Fırat Gültekin & Partners Law Firm the following year. She is currently working as the director of the Consultancy Unit (Managing Partner).

With her expertise in contracts and commercial law, Uzun provides consultancy to client companies from the establishment of the company to the liquidation of the company, and provides fast  and effective solutions to all kinds of demands that arise during the execution of daily business.

While carring out the processes related to the merger and acquisition transactions of client companies, Uzun also provides legal consultancy and advocacy support to client companies with more than 10 years of professional experience in matters such as the preparation and revision of management contracts, license contracts, distributorship contracts, transportation contracts, sales contracts, export-registered sales contracts, construction contracts, subcontractor contracts, concession contracts, franchise contracts, agency contracts, loan contracts, work contracts, and service contracts that the client companies need on a sectoral basis. She provides legal consultancy and advocacy support to client companies on issues such as company, association and foundation establishment, the preparation of foundation bills, and participation in company general assembly meetings.

Bahri Ünlü graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2003 and then worked as an associate lawyer in Turkey’s leading law firms from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2019, he provided consultancy and legal services to companies with foreign capital in many different fields as a senior and founder lawyer.

Ünlü joined Fırat Gültekin & Partners Law Firm in 2019. He is currently working as a consultant lawyer in the International Law Unit.
